About Us
We are a small and family run business who have been local to the area for almost 30 years. Our passion has always been all things food and drink, but most of all good British pubs! From enjoying afternoon drinks with friends or tucking into delicious grub with family, a good pub can always provide the perfect setting. Our ethos is to promote the absolute best of what the countryside around us has to offer. From locally sourced produce for our main menu & seasonal changing specials board, to locally brewed and distilled drinks. The White Hart is home to our very own Idle Brewery, where we are mastering the craft of fantastic real ales that we are thrilled and excited to share with everyone. We hope to prove that the once popular pub culture is far from over and that all you need to find is a little gem tucked away in the English countryside!
